Rome, 19–22 January 2026

​Held in Rome from 19 to 22 January 2026, the REBIRTH project focused on the Empowerment and Rehabilitation of Girls in Armed Conflict, hosting at Niccolò Cusano University an academic forum integrated with a celebratory concert on January 20th. Organized by UNETCHAC and Istituto San Pio V with the support of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAECI), the event combined institutional research on UN Resolution 1325 with cultural diplomacy.

​By uniting strategic debates on legal and neuroscientific rehabilitation with the symbolic power of music, REBIRTH highlighted the transition of young survivors into active agents of peace, effectively advancing the goals of Italy’s 5th National Action Plan on Women, Peace, and Security.
